SAFe Skills Catalog Product Ownership

Challenge

SAFe learners needed ongoing, just-in-time professional development beyond the certification courses. However, there wasn’t a structured way to deliver targeted microlearning to support specific skills and job tasks.

Solution

I serve as Product Owner for the SAFe Skills catalog, a growing library of microlearning modules designed to support professional development outside of certification training. My role includes:

• Participating in product kickoffs and audience identification.

• Contributing to product roadmapping and release planning.

• Editing and shaping content for clarity and impact.

• Managing catalog launches and updates in the LMS.

• Coordinating with authors and cross-functional teams to maintain a consistent learner experience.

Impact

• Built and launched a catalog of ~25 microlearning titles with new releases added regularly.

• Provided SAFe customers with accessible, targeted learning on-demand.

• Supported professional development and continuous learning across roles and geographies.

• Strengthened alignment between product strategy and learner needs.

• Developed certification upgrade paths that take advantage of SAFe Skills and custom curriculum pathing.
